My Alfredo Sauce

All the amounts are estimates since I've never measured... So, feel free to toy with it to your own liking.

butter
minced garlic
sour cream
heavy cream
fresh grated parmesan
white wine

In a skillet, melt about 3 tablespoons of butter. Add 1-2 tablespoons of minced garlic and let cook over medium heat until garlic sizzles. Add a splash of white wine, 2 dollops of sour cream, and one of those small cartons of heavy cream. Once it starts to bubble, slowly whisk in enough parmesan until it's thickened enough. Add some fresh ground pepper if you like.

I just made this with bow tie pasta and grilled chicken.
